An Evening With Valerie Leon – 27th April 2013

On Saturday the 27th April, a little part of Ladywell became an Egyptian Tomb to celebrate the stunning Valerie Leon’s evening at The Misty Moon Gallery.

Upstairs in the gallery The Tomb saw Bugs Bunny mummified and suspended over a coffin.  The installation was a collaboration between Stuart Morriss, Jolyon Dupuy and Lucas Dupuy.  With additional work by Cynthia Dewsbury, Cath Dupuy, Hrastic Imagery, Andrew Foley and Elle Mackearth.

Valerie Leon wowed a sold out gallery with her tales of Hammer, Bond, Pink Panther and of course Carry On.  Misty Moon’s Mistress Of Ceremonies, in the guise of Queen Jezabelle, kept the chat flowing under the watchful eye of Monty The Python.

The audience then had a chance to look at the installation and have their photographs taken with Valerie, as well as getting autographs.
