Welcome Ela Kawecka

Misty Moon Exhibitions and Events is pleased to welcome Ela Kawecka to their growing list of exhibitors. Ela will be exhibiting for the 1st time in the UK at our Halloween Exhibition.

Ela Kawecka was born in 1982 in Poznan, Poland. She manages her own company in the Reprographic industry. Her company also features specialising in photographic, canvas, images called Art for Walls. Ela works closely with Poznan University of Art; she is closely involved with the Design Management project.

The Mercury – Art got cult horror film star back on her feet

FILM-LOVERS have the chance to see a cult classic with a star of the silver screen on Saturday when an actress launches an exhibition of her artwork.

Adrienne King was immortalised in the horror hall of fame after she starred in Friday The 13th. But in recent years, the US actress has turned increasingly to her second love of art and has been exhibiting her work across the globe.

She has exhibited pieces before at the Misty Moon gallery at the Ladywell Tavern in Ladywell Road, Lewisham, but this will be her first solo show in the UK.

I started off as a photojournalist photographing and interviewing pop stars and TV celebrities for teenage magazines; people like the Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Marc Bolan, Alvin Stardust, Suzi Quatro etc. I also worked with people like Dudley Moore, Victoria Wood, Polly James, Nerys Hughes.
