Hello, welcome to my Blog page. This is a page about all things Misty Moon, I will tell you about the new exhibitions, events and exhibitors.

So what has been happening in the world of Misty Moon ?

Well, I was invited onto the Christy Bradshaw Behind The Scenes Radio Programme in America this Thanksgiving Day, to chat about the recent Misty Moon exhibition with our friend and patron Adrienne King. We also talked about the exciting news that Misty Moon will be taking over The Tank Gallery on the 1st December and about the forthcoming Winter Exhibition. Adrienne was there too and she was talking about the gallery and the wonderful time that she had with the Misty Mooners and the good folk of The Ladywell Tavern. This week is really exciting as Misty Moon takes over the space currently occupied by The TankcNext Saturday we will be putting up the new sign for The Misty Moon Gallery and then installing the Winter Exhibition. I will keep you updated on the developments.

The Mercury – Gallery switch at the Tavern

THE owners of an art gallery housed behind a pub will hand the space over to a new group on Saturday. Tank at the Ladywell Tavern is currently showing its last display before moving on to work on other installations and venues. The gallery has been based behind the pub in Ladywell Road, Ladywell, for the past two-and-a-half years.

Edward Chell’s Viewing Stations will be the last exhibition held at Tank Gallery. It will be taken over by the team behind the gallery’s popular Misty Moon exhibitions and events.

Led by director and curator Stuart Morriss, it will be renamed the Misty Moon Gallery. It is due to reopen with a group exhibition of work by UK and international artists on Thursday, December 8.

Among the work on show will be paintings by horror film actress Adrienne King, who starred in Friday The 13th. The American star flew over from the US for a Misty Moon exhibition in September. The Misty Moon Gallery will also hold art fairs, craft markets, talks and screenings.
