Jacki Piper’s many West End credits include the female lead roles in several highly successful comedies, such as Don’t Dress For Dinner at The Duchess, Dear Charles at The Duke Of Yorks, The Secretary Bird at The Savoy, Big Bad Mouse at The Piccadilly,  No Sex Please….We Are British !! at The Garrick and Run For Your Wife at The Criterion.

Jacki began her career in rep, playing parts as diverse as Miranda in The Tempest, Liz in Billy Liar, Lulu in The Birthday Party and Smedaldina in Servant Of Two Masters. Her other theatre credits include Stage Struck at Swansea, A Spell Of Cold Weather at Richmond, The Maintenace Man & A Bedfull Of Foreigners at Sonning.  The Happy Apple & Move Over Mrs Markham at Richmond, Not Now Darling at Guildford, and many old time music hall revues and pantomimes.  Jacki has starred in national UK tours of It Runs In The Family, Hobson’s Choice as Maggie Hobson, Boeing Boeing, Run For Your Wife (she toured in New Zealand with this production), and a far-eastern tour of A Bedfull Of Foreigners. Most recently she appeared in the premiere of the new comedy Marry Me – You Idiot ! at London’s Jermyn Street Theatre, and in a national tour of J.B. Priestley’s When We Are Married.

Jacki’s innumerable television appearances include Esther Pidgeon in 2 series of The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin, Galton and Simpson’s Don’t Dilly Dally, Men of Affairs, Thriller, The Rough With The Smooth, The Two Ronnies, The Kelly Montieth Show, Call My Bluff, The Things You Do For Love, Strange But True, Backup, & Dangerfield.  She also starred as Pearl in the series Hogg’s Back, and most recently been seen in The Bill, Take A Girl Like You, Barbara, Doctors and Wire In The Blood.

On the Big Screen, Jacki is best known for her Carry On adventures – namely Carry On Jungle, Carry On Loving, Carry On At Your Convenience & Carry On Matron.  She has recently recorded the voice-over commentaries for the 2003 DVD releases of her Carry On films, which it is estimated are screened on television somewhere in the world at least once every single day ! Her other film credits include Mr. Love, Doctor In Trouble, The Love Ban & The Man Who Haunted Himself with Roger Moore.

In pantomime, Jacki has been Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother at Hayes, Swindon, Rhyll and Bournemouth.

Last year Jacki appeared on TV in documentaries about the Carry On films and also in programmes about Terry Scott and Sid James.  This year she appeared in the film Run For Your Wife which premiered at Leicester Square in February.
