Diane Franklin is best known as an actress of the 80s! Most notably, the endearing French-exchange student playing opposite John Cusack, in the 1985 comedy “Better Off Dead”.

Diane also acted in the role of the Medieval,  princess-babe opposite Keanu Reeves in the 1989 classic, “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”, and left a lasting impression as Karen in the 1982 teen film, “The Last American Virgin”.

When it comes to the world of horror, Diane has also made a lasting impression. She is featured as Patricia Montelli in the haunting tale, “Amityville 2: The Possession, she also starred in the campy 80s horror-spoof, “Terrovision”. Additional scary credits include “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, “Deadly Lessons”, “Murder She Wrote”, and “Freddy’s Nightmares”.

Diane’s most recent work has been acting in her daughter’s short films “My Better Half”, “Humanized” (2012 Los Angeles Film Festival) , “Royal Effups”, and a viral internet parody titled, “Agouraphobia”, which can be seen on YouTube.

Diane also has just released her autobiography about her life as an actress of the 80s titled Diane Franklin: The Excellent Adventures of the Last American, French Exchange Babe of the 80s which is now available on Amazon and Kindle.
