Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas and that you are looking forward to 2012.
London is going to be buzzing this year, with the world looking at The Olympics and The Queen’s Golden Jubilee.
2012 is also going to be a very busy and exciting year for Misty Moon and the new Misty Moon Gallery. Our first exhibition of the year, The Mid Winter Exhibition, opens on Monday the 16th January and runs until Sunday the 29th January. The Preview Night is Thursday the 19th January from 7pm till late. We have a selection of our regular Misty Mooners and 4 new exhibitors showcasing a variety of work including some fascinating sculptures.
In February we will be showing “Eldorado”, a comedy horror, that has been dubbed a cross between The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Blues Brothers. The film has an all star cast including our very MC Michael Barber as twisted killer Tommy. Keep an eye on the events page for further info about this screening.
In April we are delighted to announce The Return of our dear friend Adrienne King. Adrienne will be returning to Misty Moon with some new paintings for a week long exhibition and we will be holding a screening of Adrienne’s new film Psychic Experiment as well as Friday the 13th. More info to follow shortly.
In May we are proud to be premiering Billy Shakespeare at the gallery. The film is being made and directed by Deborah Voorhees who starred in Friday the 13th Part 5 – A New Beginning. Deborah will be at The Misty Moon Gallery for a week screening the film and there will be a Q&A with Deborah every night. Tickets for this event will be available through the website soon.
We will also be hosting our highly acclaimed Group Exhibitions every month as well as presenting exciting solo shows.
