Lucia was born and raised in the South East End of London in Lewisham in 1980.
While completing a BA (Bachelor of Arts) Fine Art Degree at the University of East London in her early 20’s she developed a keen interest in photography. Inspired by the artist works of Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Robert Frank, Don McCullin, Alfred Stieglitz and David Goldblatt whose work she came to admire very much.
