Artist
Wilf Frost’s paintings are made up of ideas collaged together from many different sources;
images in magazines, dreams, visions and browsing the internet to name but a few.
One of his motifs is the simple ‘morph’ like figure, devoid of detail and expression; the figures seem anonymous and isolated in their urban environment.
Wilf has gone on to paint humans with animals heads in home and urban surroundings.
A reference to anthropomorphism, art and story telling. Wilf likes to give his paintings that little surreal twist.
What seems harmless and fun when explored deeply can have dark and sinister undertones.
