Su Young Lee is an artist & textile print designer who works in London. Su Young’s design is driven by refinement of textures, patterns, shapes and colours.
Especially, her textile design is created with passion for printed hand textiles, knitting, embroidery and pattern.
Su Young enjoys using silk with a discharging agent in order to express her inspiration gained from the combination of animal skin and nature. Her design begins with a series of experiments and hand drawings of photos, objects or anything that can inspire her. All her handmade textiles are created by using techniques of hand printing, dyeing fabrics, lovely patterns and finishing with touches of splendid colour waves.
